General needs and the Day-to-Day.

In my other individual blogs e.g. ‘Sleeping’, ‘Feeding’, I have listed specific items which I found most useful throughout baby’s first year. But beyond the big buys, of prams, cots etc baby’s needs throughout the day to day are multiple and ongoing. For example those early challenges, Gripe Water can be brilliant for gas or reflux, and always have teething products and vapour plug-ins on hand for sniffles. General Equipment

Changing mats - I always found changing mat with raised sides the more secure for baby. I will list a few options, I found it easier to have a changing station both upstairs and downstairs as throughout baby’s first year a lot of nappy changes are required. I will also list a travel mat, if you are out and about it can be great for storing wipes/nappies and you always have a sterile surface for changing baby.
